old news but do you know about the monthly subscription 'beauty box' thingy thats super hot now? okay not super hot but still famous la okay!
there's 3 different 'brand' BellaBox ($19.95), GlamaBox ($18) and Vanitytrove ($25) 

see i'm kind enough to give the link lol. anyway currently i'm subscribed to BellaBox for around 6-8 months alr? i don't know too lazy to count BUT recently! i'm thinking of subscribing VanityTrove! so i did a bit of research about all these boxes and i found this (i'm sorry) not so famous Glamabox. i shall list down what i think about the 3 different boxes

BellaBox

i like what i receive so far it's more concentrated on body lotion and make up products. one thing i really like about bellabox is that they have free gift now and then. on different months i actually received free gift like eyeshadow brush, mirror and lipstick pen all with bellabox name on it. which i think it's really nice for them to do that and maybe that's why the price increased, it actually used to be $15 but i guess i can understand because they want to add more free gifts and products for the customers. BUT one thing i dont like is ALL THE LOTIONS.

see the items i really like it alot but over the months that i subscribed from them i got so much body lotion :( i hope they have more make up but i know it's ex!!!

VanityTrove

i have no idea what they send out because i didn't subscribed to it BUT I GO GOOGLE IT! * just google that shit, google that shit* this lady was sponsored by vanitytrove every month to do a review SO HERE'S THE LINK   go read yourself lol. anyway from what i read they actually send out things more on the higher ends like L'Oreal and..... i dont know what else but that's what i feel after reading it. IF you are a big fan of cosmetics you can subscribed to it too i guess? it has a min of  1 make up product in it every month and 1 full size product ( almost the same as bellabox but they only give full size for things like OPI, eyeliner and mascara. those small things ) 

GlamaBox

frankly speaking i dont know what to say lol. from what i read the brand they carry in are more from HK and those that are famous in HK so for those who refuse to step out from their comfort zone may feel insecure using it. BUT it's cheap, it's only $15 per month 

these are the item they sent out for feb. and i only recognize Dr Cell, Clinique (which is just a sample pack) and the mask. so honestly speaking i didn't consider on subscribing it. i guess i just prefer my comfort zone. FYI i think they focus more on skincare also. 

TO SUM THINGS UP i hope VanityTrove will sponsor me LOLOLOL! keep dreaming la hor just let me dream!!!!!!!! but i'm honestly considering whether to subscribe not. guess it depend on what bellabox send out this month! 

LASTLY I THINK IPSY IS DA BEST $10 PER MONTH AND SO MANY PRETTY THINGS I WANT! HTTP://IPSY.COM but it's in US la so cosmetics damn cheap.

Bellabox products review (outdated)

SURPRISE IM BACK! (In LoL jax voice *if you know what I mean*)
So I'm lying on bed waiting for my mask to be done and hair to dry cause I don't know what got into me and made me take a shower at this timing. Since I'm super free and had lots of time to bath I decided to try a few items I got from bellabox months ago.

ICHIKAMI SHAMPOO, CONDITIONAL AND TREATMENT


The one I got from bellabox is in small packet not small container as shown here. It smell really nice even nicer than the essentials shampoo (white) I'm using currently. I have rather sensitive scalp so I would get dandruff easily if the shampoo doesn't suit me. For example, whenever I dye my hair I would have dandruff for the next week due to the shampoo they used on me for that only one time. YES ONE FREAKING TIME!! So this brand is one of the few brands that wouldn't give me dandruff after using it. I'm considering whether to switch to this shampoo! Cause my hair feels much silky after use.

SKINFOOD HONEY BLACK TEA JELLY FOAM


I don't like the smell! The smell is too strong! I love black tea but I can't stand the honey smell because it gives off a very strong baby powder alike smell which I hated. HOWEVER my face does feel smooth after washing I think it's due to the honey. Another thing, while washing it will produce foam like bubble foam. Overall I do like this product cause my face feel smooth after use but not the smell so I don't think I will buy it.

STORYDERM SILK MASK


The one I used is different its for whitening, moisturising and ....... Something else lol. The usual effects la. my face does feel smoother after using but I feel that all the other mask gives the same effect so I'm not really sure whether this is really efficient not. So average I guess.

LASTLY SKINMISO NOSE PACK


THIS IS DA BOMB!!!!!! I got a sample pack from bellabox which look like this


One 1step, one 2step and one cotton Q tip with uneven surface on one end. Used these this afternoon MY NOSE FEELS SO SMOOTH!!!! KIMOCHI!!!!!! Now I finish my mask my nose area still feels so much smoother! (Warning long post of praising) after I used the 1step (as seen on the pack easier to differentiate) I can't see really obvious black head popping out but when I used the black Q tip DABOMB white thingy stick to it! Which is black+white heads btw. But I still use the metal thingy as seen in the first pic (I don't know what's that called and it in my bellabox in don't know which month) to squeeze lightly on my nose and all the blackheads come out rather easy. THEN I use the 2step for 10mins and after 10mins I massage the excessive moisture on my nose, not washing off. MY NOSE FEELS SO SMOOTH! You can't compare this with the smoothness you got after using those normal blackhead strip this is much smoother! I can see that the pores at my nose area is so much smaller. It would be better if I had that cream to apply but too bad I do not have it :( but I'm going to buy the set at Watson this week! This is how good it is!

Rainbow cupcake

I'm having my school holiday now so I'm like super free. So on that fateful day(I just forgotten which day is it) I met up with Philida/himiko to bake rainbow cupcake! It's really easy! If you buy the premade mix lol. In my case I used the green butter cake mix. I know most of the people use the 2-layer white cake mix instead so the colour would show up nicer but I couldn't find it at that time so I just bought the butter mix.

I'm sorry for the lack of picture lol.

Anyway I just divide into 7 potion and mix in the GEL food colouring. Gel is better and colours will show up nicer. I'm sorry I'm using Philida's so I'm not sure where to get it. Normal baking supplies shop should have at around 1-3buck for each colour? So finally bake! Baking in process~~~~


Look at her gorgeous oven I super love big oven like this but my family don't really bake so we only have the small one :(

If you notice, the colour is a bit fucked up now lol. (hey pastel purple! Omg) cause after 20mins I'm too lazy to layer it one by one! Too much effort! So I basically pour everything in lol. Hey it turn out nice okay


Not mine my friend's the icing was too watery so I didn't use it. She use it in the end. Hers look really nice because she spent 2hours layering it. Wtf. And she's using the 2 layer cake mix so her colour is more vibrant. BUT mine taste nicer cause got butter taste lol. The mix she using is white so it's kinda like sugary taste only which is too sweet for me so I'm glad I didn't use it. But this butter mix is too sweet also! Next time I shall do my own mix! I can control the sweetness :) (will post pic of mix soon)

Btw it was a gift from me to my bf. he finished everything lol.

Anyway went to bugis after trillion years (exaggerating) with my childhood friend! And bought the red velvet cupcake from twelve cupcake.


Review: it look really cute! The cream cheese icing on top is perfect! Like it a lot but the amount is too much. It's like half of the cupcake I think it should be 1/3? The cream cheese taste covered the taste of the velvet cupcake. To be honest it's my first time eating red velvet I thought it has a special taste to it but instead it actually means the texture and it only has chocolate taste :( but the texture is really moist and smooth. I couldn't finish the icing because it's really too cheesy.

2.5/5 overrated.

People are raving bout how good the cupcakes at twelve cupcakes are and how affordable it is.
Overall from me. Too pricy for this kind of cupcake. The potion is small and it's not really that tasty

Movie reviews: Prometheus vs Dictator

It kind of a bad comparison cause the movie are of different genes, but these are the recent movie I watched. So yeah.

Prometheus 2/5


Its about a group of people trying to find out who is their creator (whom they call it engineers).
THIS MOVIE SUCKS! And I'm not kidding. Too many people I know are complaining bout this movie. But first let me tell you why I give it a 2


This ship worth 1 cause it reminds me of gundam


And this woman here worth 1 more (in case you don't know she is the queen in the snow white and the huntsman)

Okay back to the movie. Some parts of the movie has TOTALLY no connection to whatever the character is trying to achieve.
- why poison your companion?
- why wanna kill/create humans (unanswered throughout!!! At least answer one please!
- what the robot trying to achieve
- who were those people? Are they the engineers? Or human created by them?

And much more! Some parts are damn gross. Maybe one or two. And that's all -.-
I enter the cinema with anticipation and left the cinema with tonnes of questions. Thanks. -.-

I shall start with why 4.5/5. Because its too short! It's only 1h plus! Less than 1.5h but it's hilarious. Too funny another point why is it funny.


This woman is in! Lol the girl from scary movies. So you know what to expect alr right haha.
As compared to Prometheus the motive of everyone is VERY CLEAR! It shows what the character wants and how they feel. However,it's m18. Actually I got nothing much to say bout this movie.
Firstly, it's short. Secondly, it is just showing what he did in order to achieve what he wanted with lost of funny scene that doesn't seem out of place or overdo at all.

WTF?!

I JUST REALIZE I GOT 60+ UNIQUE HITS ON 19 AUG! lol on the keyword king -.-thanks to king laksa steamboat huh. lol I SHOULD POST MORE FOOD REVIEWS THEN! WAKAKAKAKAKAKA!
okay okay lets talk bout the latest restaurant i went to ichiban boshi. is kinda famous now right? i dont know but all my akibanana friends LOVE to eat there. i think i know why though. cause is cheap and good? lol. For example.


This spread only cost less than 50 bucks. Around 40.something only! The sushi wasn't really cheap. The chawamushi coated 3.90 so obviously I didn't order BUT! This thing! These two bowl of thing! Only 5.90! With the lollipop like potato and green tea free flow. Super cheap!! Till 5.30 only.


$5.90!!!!


And it's rice so super full. Sushi wasn't necessary if you have small appetite. So........ After adding gst and service charge for this should be around 7 bucks. Aiya kopitiam cheaper la hahahaha. Kidding! Is quite nice.
